UPSC released admit card for the NDA and NA (I) 2017 at its official website. NDA Exam (1) 2017 will hold on April 23, 2017 through offline mode (pen and paper based mode). Students can download the admit card till April 23, 2017. Candidates will able to download their NDA admit card 2017 with the help of their registration ID/ roll number. The Commission released admit cards for centers outside Delhi in the first week of April while the admit cards for centers in Delhi was released on Monday (April 03) on Details related to NDA exam center, registration number, candidate’s name, roll number, NDA exam date & timing, etc. will be specified on the NDA 2017 Admit Card.

Only the candidates who have completed their NDA Registrations 2017 correctly and also fulfil the basic NDA eligibility criteria will be issued the NDA admit card. Candidates will not be allowed to sit/ enter the examination center without NDA admit card 2017 and a valid identity proof. NDA 2017 admit card is an important document which acts as an ID proof at various stages of examination and admission process.

There is no other mode of obtaining an Admit card. Admit card can only be downloaded online through the official website i.e.

NDA 2017 (1) Result will declare in the month of May 2017. Post result NDA will conduct the SSB for the selection of the candidates in NDA institutes.

NDA 2017 Admit Card Dates

The Exam will be conducted into two sessions of 2.5 hours each at various chosen test centers. With a total of 900 marks, the sole objective of NDA Exam is to test the candidates’ aptitude & logics as required from an officer in Indian Armed Forces. How to download NDA Admit Card 2017?

Candidates can get the admit card from the official website of the university which is available till April 23, 2017. Candidates will not be allowed to take the examination until or unless they have an e-Admit Card for examination. Candidates are advised to contact UPSC immediately in case if they found any discrepancy in the admit card.

3. After clicking on the link named as “download e-Admit Card" instruction page will be open in front of the candidate which they have to read very carefully.

4. After that candidate needs to select any one of the options from Registration ID or Roll Number to download the Admit Card.

5. Either choose Registration ID or Roll Number, following credentials will be required to proceed further to download NDA Admit Card.

6. The admit card of the candidate will be displayed on the screen.

7. Candidates are advised to take the printout of generated UPSC NDA 2017 Admit card.

8. Candidates can only carry a blank clipboard, black ball pen, and NDA 2017 Admit card inside the examination hall on the exam day.

NDA 2017 Information on Admit Card

Candidates will not be allowed to appeared for the NDA 2017 examination without admit card. Admit card contains the information about both the candidates and examination that they need to check.

Documents carry along with Admit Card

Candidates should bring the hard copy of attested documents along with the UPSC NDA 2017 Admit Card at the examination center. In the case of any discrepancy found in the admit card candidates are not allowed to appear in the examination.

Following is the list of mandatory documents which is given below:

  1. Candidates should bring PAN Card, Driving license, Passport & Voter ID as photo identity proof.
  2. Reserved category candidates must bring the caste certificate at the examination center.
  3. If candidates name has been changed due to any reason like marriage then they have to submit the relevant document at the time of examination.
  4. Candidates are advised to reach the examination hall on or before the reporting timing.

NDA 2017 Admit Card Discrepancy

If an applicant is not able to download the e-admit card, they should contact UPSC facilitation counter on these telephones numbers 011-23381125, 011-23385271 and 011-23098543 between 10am and 5pm on all working days or send fax message on 011-23387310.

In case, the photograph is not printed or not visible on the admit card, candidates must carry two identical photographs along with a proof of identity such as students ID card used by school or college, voter ID card, Aadhar card, driving license, passport etc. and a printout of the admit card to the venue of the examination.

Documents required for Communication

For any communication related to the admit card candidate should report to the commission. With the help of following particulars candidates can submit the complaint regarding admit card which are named as below:

NDA 2017 Exam Center Guidelines

Candidates must bring along a valid ID card /hard copy of the attested document (in case ID card is not available) and a colored photograph to the NDA Exam Centre. It must be similar to the one uploaded during online application form along with the NDA 2017 Admit Card at the concerned examination center for the purpose of verification. In case of any discrepancy, candidate would not be to sit in the test.  Read below some important NDA exam center guidelines for NDA 2017:

  • Any candidate carrying a mobile phone, any other communication device, calculators or any other electronic gadgets inside the examination hall would be immediately expelled from the hall and would not be allowed to sit in NDA 2017.
  • NDA Admit Card 2017 must be handed over to the exam center invigilator for the process of verification, whenever asked.
  • No excuse will be accepted in case the candidate is not able to report to the exam center on scheduled date and time.
  • Duplicate NDA Admit Card 2017 will not be issued to the candidate in any case after the examination. Therefore, a candidate must retain the admit card carefully.
  • Candidate must be seated in the exam hall at least before 15 minutes of the commencement of the examination.

NDA 2017 Exam Preparation

Candidates appearing for NDA 2017 should prepare well and should focus on General Science section more as it holds the larger weightage of the NDA question Paper. NDA (1) 2017: Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are advised to reach the exam center one hour before the commencement of exam. Important instructions regarding NDA Exam are mentioned below:

  • Candidates will have to bring the e-Admit Card in each session. E-Admit card should be preserved till the results are declared.
  • Candidates will have to enter the Examination Hall 20 minutes before the commencement of Examination.
  • Any omission/ mistake/ discrepancy in filling in details in the OMR answer sheet will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination if they report 10 minutes after the start of the examination.
  • If any candidate appears at a different exam centre other than the allotted one, his/her answer scripts will not be evaluated and candidature is liable to be cancelled.
  • Electronics devices such as mobiles, calculator, and other wireless equipment are banned in the premises of the exam center. Any Infringements of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
  • There will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers. 0.83 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer marked in Paper 1(Mathematics) and 1.33 marks will be deducted in Paper 2 (General Knowledge).
  • Answers should be marked by Black ball point pen only. Answers other than those marked by Black Ball point pen will not be evaluated.
  • Guardians, parents or friends accompanying the candidate won’t be allowed inside the premises of exam centre.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of exam.
  • Candidates are advised not to bring any valuables or costly items to the Examination halls, as safe keeping cannot be assured. The Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard. 
  • It is advised to candidates to look beneath the seats they are sitting on before the commencement of examination. Any paper found near the candidate may lead to disqualification of the candidate.
  • Any candidate found indulging in any activity that is not permissible inside the examination hall, that candidate will be banned from appearing in the future NDA Exam.
