March 01, 2021: Indian Army invites students with a graduation in Engineering to apply for the Technical courses. Any male and unmarried candidate who has finished his Bachelor’s in Engineering or is in the final year of the same can apply through the Indian Army’s official website joinindianarmy.nic.in. The application process has already started since February 25, 2021 and will be open till March 26, 2021.
The vacancy for 2021 is for 40 posts in the organization. After the selection, the chosen candidates will go to the Pre- Commission Training Academy. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria and the selection process below before applying for the course. Relevant links:

Any male candidate who is unmarried with an engineering degree can apply for this course. The students who are in the final year/semester of their bachelor’s in engineering can also apply, provided they must be able to submit their marksheets of all the years/semesters by July 01, 2021. If selected in the final round, they must also be able to submit their Engineering Degree Certificate within the 12 weeks after the commencement of training. Failure to do either will result in immediate disqualification of the candidate.
Any candidate between the age of 20-27 years on July 01, 2021 is eligible to apply for joining the Indian Army. The date of birth mentioned in the Secondary School Examination or the 10th board result will be the one taken into consideration while calculating the age of the candidate.
At first, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks scored in Engineering, separately for each of the Engineering Streams. The shortlisted candidates will receive an email informing them about their selection center. The selected candidates then have to login on the official website to choose their preferred date for the SSB. There are two stages to the selection process. The candidate clearing the Stage 1 will go for Stage 2. The clearance of the latter will be followed by a medical test. On being medically fit, the candidates will be given their joining letter on the basis of merit and the number of vacancies available.
