The IBPS PO Result is expected to be released in the last week of December. The IBPS (Institute of Banking and Personal Examination) conducted its IBPS PO exam on November 20, 2016. The IBPS PO exam was held to shortlist the candidates for the next level i.e. final interview. The Interview is scheduled in January 2017.
The examination is held to select candidates for over 8,822 posts of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees in 22 participating banks/organizations. The Mains examination was held on November 20, 2016. The candidates for the mains examinations were selected on the basis of the Preliminary exam result, which was given by around 13-14 lakh candidates.
The result for IBPS PO Mains will be declared on the official website of IBPS. Candidates can check their results by providing their registration number, roll number, date of birth, etc.
The result for IBPS PO (Mains) will be declared in the last week of December 2016. The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions of the main exam will be normalized using the equal-percentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.

The shortlisted candidates in IBPS PO Mains 2016 exam will be called for Interview process held in the month of January / February. The weightage ratio of IBPS PO Main 2016 exam and Interview will be 80:20 respectively. Candidates have to qualify both in the IBPS PO Mains 2016and Interview and must be high in the merit will be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process.
