IBPS PO 2018 Admit Cards for the Preliminary Examination will be released in the month of September 2018. The admit card/call letter can be downloaded from the official website www.ibps.in till the day before the exam. The portal for downloading it will close on the day of the exam. Admit cards will be issued to only those candidates who have successfully registered for the exam within the stipulated time.

The application process for IBPS PO is set to start from the last week of August 2018. Candidates can apply for IBPS PO 2018 by filling the online application form and paying the requisite fees. Pre-exam Training will be held in the month of September 2018 across various cities in India.

The IBPS PO 2018 preliminary exam will be held on October 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2018. Candidates who qualify this exam will be eligible for the IBPS PO Main exam 2018 which is scheduled for November 18, 2018. The final result for IBPS PO 2018 will be declared in February 2019 after conducting the personal interview round.

Dates for IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card

IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card will be issued separately for the Prelims and Main Exam. As per the IBPS Calendar 2018-19, the Admit Card for Prelims will be available from September 2018 and the one for Main eam will be available form November 2018.

All the IBPS PO Admit Cards and the interview call letter can be downloaded from the official website www.ibps.in . Aspirants will be notified by SMS and email about the availability of the admit cards by IBPS. Students are advised to download the admit card as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute rush.


Steps to Download IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card

The admit card is a document which shows your candidature and assigned roll number. It will be available only in the online mode and shall not be sent by post to any candidate. The admit card can be downloaded by following these few easy steps:

  • Log on to the official IBPS PO 2018 website. The URL of official website is www.ibps.in
  • Select the option ‘CWE PO/MT’ from the left side of the webpage
  • Next, select the option ‘Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees 6
  • Click the first option ‘Click here to download Preliminary Online Examination Call Letter for CWE PO/ MT – VI.from the new page.
  • You will next reach the login page to download the admit card of IBPS PO 2018.
  • Select the medium of language of the call letter (English/Hindi). Enter your registration number, password or date of birth and the security pin given on the login credential page.
  • IBPS PO 2018 Admit card will open in a new window. Download it. At the top left corner of this page, you will see an option to print the call letter. Print it and save the soft copy.

After printing out the admit card, go through the details given in it and make sure that all the information is correct. Details on the Admit Card will be as per the information entered in the IBPS PO 2018 Application Form.

Discrepancy in Admit Card

If candidates find any discrepancies in the IBPS PO 2018 admit card, they must send a mail at ibpso@ibps.in within the stipulated time. The mail must contain the text of auto-generated email received at the time of registration or a scanned copy of the registered application. They can also contact the IBPS PO helpline if there is any mistake in the admit card or a problem in downloading it.


Documents Required on the Exam Day

Candidates must bring their admit card/call letter to the IBPS PO Exam Center. They must also carry an original identity proof along with its photocopy. The original identity proof can be a PAN Card, Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving license, Bank Passbook, etc. Ration Card and E-Aadhaar Card will not be accepted as valid ID proof. Candidates cannot enter the exam hall without these documents.


Important Guidelines for Exam

Candidates must follow these instructions to ensure a smooth running of the exam process.

  • Any requests for change of time, date or venue of examination will not be entertained.
  • Re-check the Roll Number, Date of Examination, Time and Venue given in the call letter. Ensure that all the important details are right and arrive at the venue well ahead of the reporting time.
  • Candidates must only take the seats allocated to them according to their roll number. 
  • No baggage is allowed inside the IBPS PO examination centre.
  • Candidates must submit their call letter along with the photocopy of the identity proof to the invigilator. They must also write down their roll number and registration number on the photocopy.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any materials like pencil box, calculators and log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, bits of paper, Bluetooth devices, pagers or mobile phones.
  • A plain sheet will be provided to the candidates for rough work at the examination centre.
  • Biometric data will be captured at the examination venue. Candidates must ensure their finger is not coated with ink, henna, colour, etc. and is clean and dry for the impression.
  • Candidate must ensure that the signature appended by him in the call letter and attendance sheet is similar to that uploaded on the application form. This signature should be used for all future correspondence with the IBPS PO.
  • The candidates can approach the Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, health related emergency or any information during the exam.
  • The candidates can approach the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any information during the exam.
  • Candidates found guilty of using unfair means, impersonating, misbehaving in the examination hall, disclosing, publishing or storing of contents of the exam will be debarred from the exam and strict action will be taken against them.
