IBPS or the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection recently launches the grievance redressal system online. It is designed to provide the candidates with an opportunity to put forward any complaints they have regarding advertisement, registration, correction of application form data, and many more. The autonomous body that came into being in 1975 introduced this portal for faster and satisfactory resolution of all kinds of complaints and grievances that the candidates have. Now the grievance redressal system has been made completely online and all other means have been discontinued since 1 April 2016.
According to the official notice from IBPS-
“Replies on grievances lodged shall be given at the registered email address by our Help Desk within a reasonable time after registering the grievances.”

The IBPS candidate Grievance redressal System is one of the best initiatives of the institute to encourage candidate’s active participation in voicing any trouble they face and to improve the overall functioning of the body. The portal is simple and easy enough to use but do note that a considerable amount of time should be given to the help desk to revert back.
Ques. What are the educational and age criteria for CWE selection?
Ans. The age limit is between 18 years and 28 years and the candidate must have 60% aggregate in 10+2 and 3 years of graduation must be qualified too. The details of the educational and age criteria can be found in the official notice released by IBPS for CWE and the candidates must go through it very carefully to find all these details.
Ques. What to do if you do not receive a confirmation mail and password for registration?
Ans. The email and the SMS for confirmation of registration is triggered at the same time. Make sure that you are checking the registered phone number and email ID that has been used in the application form. In case you do not receive it, wait for a few minutes as network issues can also trigger such delays.
Ques. I entered incorrect DOB/Name/category/mobile number etc. while registering. How to change it?
Ans. No changes can be made after the submission of the form. There is an option to edit and make changes before final submission but once the final submission is clicked, the changes can no longer be made. Hence, candidates are advised to check the documents multiple times before submission.
Ques. What to do when a pre-exam training call letter cannot be downloaded?
Ans. The pre-exam call letter is sent only to the SC/ST and minorities. Also if you did not opt for the pre-exam training while registering the application, you will not be called for it or receive any mail to download regarding this subject.
Ques. Why can’t I download the exam-call letter?
Ans. Make sure the registration and login were correctly done which is a major reason why many candidates are unable to download the exam call letter.
Ques. I cannot locate the exam centre. What should I do?
Ans. It is advised that the candidates visit the allotted exam centre and its location at the earliest to avoid last-minute confusions. Once you receive the admit card, check the GPS location of the exam centre and if possible pay a visit beforehand so that you know the route to take on the exam day.
Ques. My payment got debited but I did not receive the confirmation mail. What should be done?
Ans. Keep a copy of the e-receipt and the application form. The e-receipt is only generated when the transaction is successful. In such cases, refresh the page or login again to check whether the status is showing up. Also, some banks take a few hours to process the transaction, and hence you may have to wait till that time for receiving the confirmation mail. In case the confirmation mail does not come, eventually, the amount will be reverted back to your account and you have made a fresh payment.
