Candidates can download their admit card for CDS 2017 from January 6, 2017. Admit card for CDS 2017 will be released online on the official website of UPSC and it will be available for download from its release date. Admit card is a compulsory document required for appearing in the CDS examination.

The eligible candidates will get their E-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of examination. It is an important document which acts as ID proof at various stages of examination and admission process. e-Admit Card of the candidate will not be sent by post under any circumstances.

Candidates should provide valid e-mail id during filling online application form for any communication related to admit card. The CDS 2017 examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

How to download CDS 2017 Admit Card?

Candidates can get the admit card from the official website of the university which is available in the month of January, 2017. Candidates will not be allowed to take the examination until or unless they have an e-Admit Card for examination. Candidates are advised to contact UPSC immediately in case if they found any discrepancy in the admit card.

  1. After clicking on the link named as “download e-Admit Card" instruction page will be open in front of the candidate which they have to read very carefully.

  1. After that candidate needs to select any one of the options from Registration ID and Date of Birth or Roll Number and Date of Birth or Name, Father’s Name and Date of Birth to download the Admit Card.

  1. Candidates are advised to take the printout of generated UPSC CDS 2017 Admit card.

Candidates can only carry a blank clipboard, black ball pen, and CDS 2017 Admit card inside the examination hall on the exam day.

UPSC CDS 2017: Information on Admit Card

Candidates will not be allowed to appeared for the CDS 2017 examination without admit card. Admit card contains the information about both the candidates and examination that they need to check.

Admit card will contain the following information:

  • Candidates Name
  • Enrolment Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Application Number
  • Photograph and Signature
  • CDS 2017 Exam Centre and Code of the Centre
  • Name of the Examination
  • Date, Day and Time
  • Reporting Time
  • Candidate Gender

UPSC CDS 2017: Documents carry along with Admit Card

Candidates should bring the hard copy of attested documents along with the UPSC CDS 2017 Admit Card at the examination centre. In the case of any discrepancy found in the admit card candidates are not allowed to appear in the examination.

Following is the list of mandatory documents which is given below:

  • Candidates should bring PAN Card, Driving license, Passport & Voter ID as photo identity proof.
  • Reserved category candidates must bring the caste certificate at the examination centre.
  • If candidates name has been changed due to any reason like marriage then they have to submit the relevant document at the time of examination.

Candidates are advised to reach the examination hall on or before the reporting timing.

UPSC CDS 2017: Correction in Admit Card

If candidates found any discrepancy in the admit card then they should contact the UPSC Commission immediately. Candidates should contact the authorities in following cases:

  • If candidates found errors in the Admit Card information.
  • If candidates receive the e-Admit Card in some other candidates name.
  • If candidates name is incorrect in the CDS 2017 Admit Card

UPSC CDS 2017: Exam Centres

Centres will be allotted to the candidates on the first-come-first-serve basis. If once the centre will be selected by the candidate then the same will be closed. Candidates who did not get examination centre of their choice they should choose it from the remaining ones. So candidates are advised to apply early and get the centre of their choice.
