November 24, 2020: The link to withdraw the CDS 1 application form 2021 has been activated by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the candidates who do not wish to appear in the exam. Candidates can withdraw their application form till November 30, 2020. The link is available on the official UPSC website @https://www.upsc.gov.in/. Candidates must note that once they withdraw the application form, it cannot be retrieved in the future and the application fees will not be refunded to the candidates withdrawing their application form.

UPSC CDS Application Form 2021 - How to Withdraw?

Candidates who do not wish to appear for the UPSC CDS 2021 can withdraw their application form by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Step 2: Click on the application form withdrawal link
  • Step 3: Key in your registration number to login
  • Step 4: Candidates must ensure that they have access to the mobile number and email ID which they provided at the time of filling the application form
  • Step 5: Separate OTPs will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID
  • Step 6: Once the OTPs entered by the candidate are validated, the request for withdrawal will be processed
  • Step 7: Candidates must print the authenticated receipt once their withdrawal is accepted
  • Step 8: An auto-generated email and SMS will be sent on the candidate’s registered email id and mobile number on successful completion of the withdrawal of the application
