UPSC has declared CDS II 2016 result for written exam at upsc.gov.in on January 30, 2017. The exam was conducted on October 23, 2016 at various exam centers. As per the CDS official notification, 8563 candidates have qualified the UPSC CDS 2 written exam. Qualified candidates will then be called by SSB (Service Selection Board) for admission to:

Medical Examination: It is done to assure that candidate is medically or physically fit for the position they have applied for. The candidate has to clear to qualify for the SSB training programme.

The steps followed to check CDS II Result are as follows:
Shortlisted candidates are required to register themselves online on the official website of Indian Army at: joinindianarmy.nic.in within 2 weeks of announcement of CDS 2 2016 written result. The successful candidates would then be allotted selection centers and dates, same will be notified on the registered email ID.
Candidates who have already registered earlier, need not to register again. In case of any query, an email can be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In case, there is any change of address, candidates are advised to promptly intimate directly to the Army Headquarters/ Naval Headquarters/ Air Headquarters as the case may be.
UPSC has a Facilitation Counter near Examination Hall Building in its Campus. Candidates may obtain any information regarding the examination on working days between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in person or over telephone no. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 and 011-23098543 from this Facilitation Counter. Information can also be obtained by accessing UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in
Candidates who haven’t qualified, their mark sheets will be put on the Commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result of OTA (after conducting SSB Interview) and will remain available on for a period of 60 days.
The original Certificates are to be submitted within 2 weeks of completion of the SSB Interview and not later than May 13, 2017 for AFA and not later than July 1, 2017 for IMA and not later than June 1, 2017 for admission to INA (August 1, 2017 in case of SSC only). Candidates must not send the original Certificates to the Union Public Service Commission. The following documents along with their 2 attested copies, are to be sent at the address provided below:
