Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the official notification and application form for the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I) 2021, on October 28, 2020. Candidates who are interested in applying for the CDS(I) exam can go through the notification and fill their application form that will be available until November 17, 2020. 

The CDS examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment of the candidates into the following departments, they're as follows, 

  • Indian Military Academy(IMA),
  • Officers Training Academy(OTA), 
  • Indian Naval Academy(INA) and 
  • Indian Air Force Academy(IAFA). 

The written exam of CDS (I) 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 2021.

CDS (I) Exam 20201: How to Apply? 

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the UPSC CDS (I) examination 2021. 

  • Open the browser and visit the official website UPSC
  • Tap on the Part-I registration link available on the homepage 
  • Application form for CDS (I) exam 2021 will be opened 
  • Fill the necessary details on the form
  • After registration, an ID will be generated 
  • Enter the registration ID and password to login the Part-II application form 
  • Pay the application fee during Part-II registration 
  • Select the preferred exam centre 
  • Upload the photographs 
  • Click the submit button to submit the CDS(I) 2021 application form
