CSSSET (Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test) 2017 Result is to be declared in the 1st week of June 2017. Candidates can check the result by providing their roll number and password on the official website. The qualified candidates will be called for the Counselling process. The exam conducting body will conduct CSSET Counselling session in the last week of July 2017. All the universities will publish their separate merit list. The admission policy varies according to the universities.
Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi will conduct CSSET 2017 on May 14, 2017. It is a national level entrance test held in offline mode i.e. pen and paper based. The written test consists of two sections such as Part A and Part B. The Part A contains 40 multiple choice questions whereas Part B contains 4 descriptive questions. The total weightage for Part A is 160 marks while 40 marks for Part B. Candidates have to solve both the sections in 150 minutes only. It means the total duration for Part A is 120 minutes while it is 30 minutes for Part B.
It is conducted for admission to two-year B.Ed. course in three Sanskrit deemed universities across India. The last date for the registration is March 10, 2017. The application fee is INR 1000. Check the following table to know the important dates of CSSET 2017:

CSSET 2017 Result will declare within a month after the entrance test. Candidates will be shortlisted by the minimum qualifying marks as determined by the university. The merit list will be prepared separately for each university. All three universities will give admission according to their own admission policy. The admission will not be granted to another university after taking admission in one university. If there is a vacant seat in any university, the admission of the candidate will be done from other universities subject to getting NOC from concerned university. Candidates taking admission under catchment area can take admission only as per the rules of the Sansthan.

Tie-Breaker round is considered for the generation of merit list in case the candidates score equal marks and percentile. The merit list is generated by calculation of percentile among the candidates aspiring for the admission in B.Ed program. After the declaration of result, the competent authority will declare a list of shortlisted candidates on the official website. The list is declared within a few days after the announcement of result. The CSSET counselling process will start from the last week of July 2017 and those candidates shortlisted for counselling session will be granted admission in B.Ed courses. The exam authority will not send any individual invitation to any candidate.
Admission to B.Ed course will be done through CSSET. Candidates seeking admission to the same course must apply on prescribed online application. All the eligible candidates applied for the CSSET are required to appear for the entrance test. While applying online, each candidate is directed to mention their choice in maximum preference order for admission in Sansthan campuses. The preference order will be followed for admissions in universities campuses. In case of non-availability of seats in the desired campuses, the admission may be given in any one of the University according to the CSSET Score. The merit list for admission will be prepared for three universities separately. The information for shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the official website.
