CTET 2020- CBSE to increase Test Centres- Social Distancing Norms to be followed

The Chairman of Central Board of education (CBSE), Manoj Ahuja has confirmed that there'll be a rise in the total number of exam centres where the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) would be conducted. 

He added, "all the rules associated with social distancing are going to be followed while conducting the exam and that we will make sure that the candidates adhere thereto.

Guidelines to be followed at the test centre of CTET 2020

Mandatory to wear masks

The chairman of CBSE Manoj Ahuja confirmed that it'll be mandatory for the scholars to wear the mask at the test centre else they might not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Sanitisation of the test centres

CBSE has also issued a directive during which it stated that the sanitisation drive is going to be undertaken a minimum of a couple of days before the exam at the CTET test centres. Also, those institutions which were used as quarantine centres, steps are being taken to sanitize them completely at the earliest.

Reporting time at the test centre

Candidates will need to reach the test centre a minimum of two hours before the commencement of the exam and that they will need to carry the CTET 2020 Admit Card during a transparent polybag alongside valid photo identity proof.


Use of sanitiser and total number of candidates to be allowed at each exam hall

The authorities will keep sanitizer available for the candidates and that they will need to use it before they enter the test centre. Moreover, so as to make sure that the social distancing norms are strictly followed at CTET exam centre, it's likely that there'll be 12 to twenty candidates which will be allowed to seem for the exam in each hall.
