November 19, 2020: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the COVID-19 guidelines for CSIR UGC NET 2020 examination to ensure the safety of candidates during the commencement of the examination on November 19, 21, and 26.

As per the guidelines released, social distancing along with the usage of masks is mandatory for candidates appearing for CSIR NET 2020 exam. CSIR NET 2020 candidates are also requested to download the CSIR NET 2020 admit card available at

CSIR UGC NET 2020: Exam Day Guidelines

The guidelines released by NTA for exam day are mentioned below :

  • Candidates need to carry the CSIR NET 2020 admit card alongside photo identity proof for the document verification process at their allotted exam center. 
  • To reduce the danger of Covid-19, NTA has requested the candidates to carry the essential items including Mask, Gloves, a Personal transparent water bottle, Individual hand sanitizer (50 ml), and a simple pen. 
  • Candidates appearing for CSIR NET 2020 are requested to appear at their allotted examination center at least an hour and a half before the commencement of the examination.
  • Social distancing must be followed at the CSIR NET 2020 Exam Center. 
  • Proper sterilization at the CSIR NET 2020 Exam Center is compulsory along with a mandatory temperature check at the entrance.
  • The Aarogya Setu application must be downloaded on the aspirant’s cell phone. 

Candidates must note that If an individual is found to have an over-normal temperature (> 99.14 °F) or to have any signs of the infection, the applicant will not be permitted to appear for the examination.
