CBSE Junior Assistant Examination (CBT) was conducted from January 28 to 31 in online mode. The exam was held for 357 vacancies. The exam tests the basic knowledge of the applicants.

The CBSE Junior Assistant Examination is held at the national level and candidates who manage to score well in the CBT are provisionally shortlisted for selection. The procedure for selection is based on the qualifying cut-off marks.
The cut-off marks depend on various factors. These factors include the difficulty level of the question paper, the total number of the candidates appearing for the exam, the number of vacancies, previous year cut-off among many others.

Moreover, the board retains the right to cancel an individual’s candidature, in case applicants fail to fulfil the eligibility criteria laid down. Hence, CBSE will issue appointment letters only after complete verification of the documents submitted.

The result sheet will contain the name of the candidate, roll number, marks scored in each subject, overall marks scored in the examination, etc. If a candidate is not satisfied with his marks, then he can directly have a word with higher authorities of CBSE.
