MPTET Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

It is often suggested to thoroughly go through the eligibility guidelines before applying for an application form. Following is the list of the eligibility criteria for MP TET 2021.

  • All aspirants must be within 31 to 45 years of age to seat for the examination.
  • For General category Male candidates, the age boundary is 40, but for females, it is 45.
  • For SC/ST and PWD or Ex-serviceman category, the maximum age boundary is 45 years.

For Primary Teacher:

  • Applying aspirants must be qualified 12th Class with 50% marks from an acknowledged board.
  • They must hold a Diploma Degree from a recognized University.

For Secondary Teacher:

  • Applying aspirants must have a B.Ed. Degree with graduation from a recognized University with 50% Mark.
MPTET Application Process

MPTET 2021 Application Form

Before filling the form, aspirants must go through the specifications mentioned in the notification published by the official website of MP VYAPAM. If an aspirant is already has done a registration, then there will be no need for additional registration as they can quickly login with their email id password.

The application can be achieved by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the Official website of Authority for MP TET, i.e.

Step 2: By using valid email id, the candidate must create his/her profile on the portal.

Step 3: Applying applicants must provide accurate details such as passed examinations and obtained marks and other details.

Step 4: After that, candidates must upload scanned images of signature, photographs in the given format.

Step 5: Now, candidates can fill the category of the applicant. Enter no, if you do not relate to any of the reserved categories.

Step 6: Before submission, candidates must thoroughly check all the details filled, if satisfied and filled accurately, click on the submit button.

Step 7: Take a printout of the confirmation page after applying, also a hard copy for further reference.

After completing the application filling process, aspirants require to submit the application fees.

Application Fee

  • While applicants are submitting the application form for MP TET, they need to pay an application fee.
  • The application fee will be Rs. 570 for the aspirant belonging to the general category or for aspirants from other states have to submit as an application fee.
  • Reserved category aspirant has a concession of about 250 and needs to pay Rs. 320 for the same.

  • In the MP TET entrance, examination a total of 150 questions will be asked.
  • The applicant will be awarded one mark for each correct answer, and zero marks for the incorrect answer as there is no negative marking for the incorrect answer also for the unattempted question.
