Crash Course

The exam was conducted for 339 vacancy posts. The candidates who will be able to qualify the Preliminary exam will be allowed in the MPSC Mains exam.

The MPSC SSE Prelims exam was held in two shifts of two hours each. The Paper-I was of General Studies and the Paper-II was of CSAT. Here are the question papers of the MPSC Exam. 

The exam was conducted in offline mode (OMR based mode). The topic-wise exam paper analysis has been discussed in the following part of the article.

MPSC Question Paper-I Topic-wise Analysis

The maximum weightage has been given to General Science, Current Affairs, Polity and Geography in the MPSC Prelims exam.

The overall difficulty level of the General Studies Paper-I was moderate. The topic-wise weightage is given in the following tabular:

The CSAT was scheduled in the second shift from 3 PM to 5 PM. The maximum weightage has been given to Reading Comprehension- Bilingual and Reasoning.

The overall difficulty level of this paper was above the moderate level. In the following tabular, the topic-wise weightage of this paper has been provided:

Paper-II Analysis

The MPSC Prelims answer keys are expected to be released within 5 days of the exam on the official website. The appeared candidates will be able to check their answers.

The exam was conducted to select candidates for the posts of Assistant State Tax Commissioner, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Commissioner/ Project Officer, Deputy Education Officer in Maharashtra Education Department, Deputy Superintendent in Land Record, Deputy Superintendent in State Excise, Naib Tahsildar and other posts.
