Meghalaya Police 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For recruitment in the Meghalaya Police 2021, the basic eligibility criteria of educational qualification and age should be met with. The detailed educational qualifications and age limit for different posts is given below:

Candidates who wish to apply for Meghalaya Police but are confused about the process, may follow the step by step procedure mentioned below:

  • The application form can be obtained from the offices of all District Superintendents of Police, Commandants of MLP Battalions and Principal, PTS Meghalaya Police, Shillong and at the help desk centre of Delhi Police. The application form can also be downloaded from the official website of the Meghalaya Police i.e.,
  • The application has to be filled in Capital Block Letters using only Black / Blue Point Ball Pen
  • Recent passport size colour photograph (35 X 45 mm) with name plate and red background should be affixed in the application form. Five identical passport size photographs and two Stamp size photographs (2 X 2.5 cm) with name plate needs to be attached along with the application form
  • The application fee can be paid in Cash or through Demand Draft in the favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable at Delhi) valid for a period of 6 months
  • Completely filled application form along with the DD must be sent to :
    • Chairman Recruitment Board: Delhi Police, Post Bag No. 14 Shillong GPO, PS Shillong Sadar, Distt. East Khasi Hills, Shillong, Meghalaya
  • Candidates who wish to pay application fees in the form of cash, need to submit their application form along with the cash to the Office of The Administrative Building, Police Reserve, East Khasi Hills, Shillong Meghalaya between 9 am and 4 pm

  • The selection criteria of Meghalaya Police consists of following steps : Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, Written Exam and Medical Standards
  • The written test is conducted in an offline mode and consists of objective questions
  • The paper consists of 100 questions ; each question carries one mark and needs to be solved within a time limit of 1 ½ hours.
  • Only those students who qualify the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, will be given the admit card for written exam
  • As a final step, a medical examination is conducted by the officers

There is no written test for the follower group. However, a trade test of 150 marks will be conducted in the following categories :
