JPSC stands for “Jharkhand Public Service Commission” which focuses on commencing the Combined “Civil Services Examination” & releases the “Application Form” so that test-takers/ candidates can apply from time to time. This examination will help in choosing the deserving & eligible candidates for the recruitment of various posts like Deputy Collector, DSP, etc in State, Finance Services, Educational Services, and Administrative Services of “Jharkhand Government”. On the other hand Test takers/ Candidates planning to appear in the exam must have a clear understanding “Exam Pattern” of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). Moreover, the syllabus for Combined Civil Service Exam is set by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the commission is authorized by the constitution to assist the Jharkhand Government in case of recruitment, transfer, etc.

The Exam Pattern for the Combined Civil Service Exam (JPSC) comprises 3 stages such as
Preliminary Examination conducted by “JPSC” (2020/ 2021) acts as a filtering agent to move test takers on to the next stage/ level. In addition, the nature of the Prelims exam is Objective Type/ MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). Besides “Preliminary Examination” will include 2 papers & the question paper will be set in both English & Hindi languages. It will be held in “Offline Mode”. As well as the Test takers/ Candidates need to mark their answer in the OMR sheet in which each question carries 2 marks in Prelims Exam (JPSC) & there are no negative marks for incorrect answers.

In “Main Exam” of JPSC includes 6 papers. In this General Hindi & General English of “Paper – I” is qualifying in nature & test takers/ Candidates need to score minimum 30 marks to pass this paper & qualified to the next level, Apart from the “Main Exam (JPSC)” will be held in offline & descriptive type. Yet the question papers (other than language papers) will be set only in English & Hindi languages. Totally 1050 marks are allotted for the “Main Exam” in the Civil Service Exam of JPSC.

As usual, those who successfully clear the written examination will be called for the “Personal Interview”. It will be conducted on the basis of the merit list prepared based on the marks obtained in the “Main Exam” of JPSC. Applicants/ Aspirants who are able to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the main examination will get shortlisted for the JPSC Interview round for the recruitment in Jharkhand Civil Services 2020/ 2021 & the interview round is of total 100 marks in the “JPSC Exam”, the marks acquired in the interview will go together with the marks attained in the written examination will be considered valid for the merit list by “JPSC Government”.

On the onset, candidates can download/ collect an application form from the official website www.jpsc.gov.in of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). Subsequently fill all the required details in the Application Form like Name, Address, Educational Qualification, Contact Details (Phone No. & Email Id) etc then make a payment “Exam Fees” through online modes such as a Net Banking, Credit Card & Debit Card. Further use it’s more important to take a print out prior to final submission of the “Application Form”.
As more the final JPSC cut off is calculated & final merit list will be created based on the marks scored by the applicants/ test-takers in the Main Exam & Personal Interview, the applicants who clear the final JPSC cut off will be qualified for recruitment of varies post like Group A and Group B.
