Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and participating banks will organize IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training from September 23 – 28, 2020. Only candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Minority Communities are eligible for the training.

Latest: IBPS will issue Pre-exam Training Admit Card on September 16, 2020. 

  • The Pre-exam training will be organized in 61 cities across India.
  • Candidates have to carry their admit card to the training center.
  • The purpose of the training is to familiarize the candidates with the exam pattern and syllabus along with few preparation tips for IBPS PO 2020 Exam.

IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training Eligibility  

To be eligible for the Pre-exam Training organized for IBPS PO 2020, candidate must belong to any one of the following categories:

  • Scheduled Tribes (ST)
  • Scheduled Castes (SC)
  • Minority Communities

Any candidate not falling in the above mentioned condition will not be allowed to apply for the pre-exam training.

How to Apply for Pre-Exam Training? 

Applicants eligible and willing to apply for the IBPS PO Pre-exam Training can do so by filling the relevant details in IBPS PO 2020 Application Form.

  • There is no separate application form or mode to avail the facility of the training.
  • Candidates must fill in the center where they want to take the pre-exam training.  
  • This facility is provided free of cost, however, transportation and other costs are borne by candidates.
  • Successfully registered candidates will be issued pre-exam training call letter. 

IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training Call Letter

Successfully registered candidates can download IBPS PO Pre-exam Training call letters/ admit cards from September 16, 2020. It is available at the official website-ibps.in . Candidates without the call letters will not be allowed to enter the training center. . Steps to download the Pre-exam Training admit cards are given below: 

  • Go to the official website of IBPS –  ibps.in
  • Click on the link to “Download Call Letter for PO/MT-IX” running on the top of the page
  • Candidates will be directed to the login page.
  • Enter your Registration No. and Password/ Date of Birth.
  • Type the given captcha code and click on “Submit” button.
  • Pre-ExamTraining Admit Card will be displayed.
  • Download and take a printout for future use.

Q6) Will I have to pay anything extra for the Pre-Exam Training?

Ans. No, as stated earlier, this coaching is completely free.

Q7) Will the expenses for travelling and lodging will also be borne by IBPS?

Ans. No, only the coaching is free. Other expenses like boarding, travelling, lodging etc. have to be borne by the candidate.

Ans. No, hard copy through post will not be sent. You will need to download and print the call letter and carry it.

Q12) I did not apply for the pre-exam training in my form, is there any way to apply for it in the later stages?

Ans. No, to apply for pre-exam training for IBPS PO, the only way is to mention it in the application form.

Q13) Can I get the training online?

Ans. No, the training will be given in physical centers in the cities mentioned earlier. You will not get the training online.

Q14) Will the Pre-Exam Training be beneficial for me?

Ans. Candidates will be taught about the important topics, techniques to handle questions and exam pattern. The benefit of it will depend upon how one utilizes the training period.

Ans. You need to reach the official website for this, which is www.ibps.in. On the homepage, you will see a notification- ‘Click here to download your pre-exam training call letter for IBPS PO/MT’. After clicking on this, you will need to enter your log in details and call letter will get downloaded.

Q16) Will I get the option to select the center for pre-exam training?

Ans. Yes, you will be given the option to select.

Q17) The center allocated to me does not match with what I filled in the form, why is it so?

Ans. IBPS tries to give candidates the center preferred by them, but there is no guarantee that the same center will be allotted.

Q18) I want to change the time and venue of my pre-exam training, can I do that?

Ans. No, there is no option of changing the time and venue for training.

Q19) I am not able to download the call letter, what should I do?

Ans. It might be due to incorrect login credentials, or you might not have been selected. You can contact IBPS for the same.

Q20) I forgot my password, how can I download the call letter?

Ans. You password is sent to your registered mobile number and email ID, you can refer to these for your password. However, there is an option for resetting as password as well.

Hi Prajwala, you will be eligible to apply in the exam when you will be in final semester of your course. Till then, you are not eligible.
