IBPS Clerk 2021 is a national-level banking recruitment examination conducted to shortlist candidates for Clerical Cadre Posts in the participating organisations. It is conducted through two phases - Preliminary exam and Main exam. The examination will take place in December 2021 and January 2022.

  • Candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerk 2021. The application process will tentatively begin in September 2021.
  • IBPS Clerk 2021 Prelims exam will be a computer-based online test comprising 100 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each.
  • Negative marking is applied for the evaluation of scores; 0.25 marks are deducted from the allotted marks.
  • There will be sectional timings and sectional cut offs will have to be cleared for each test.

Candidates who aspire to secure a position of clerk in banks are required to qualify IBPS Clerk examination. The basic salary for IBPS Clerk position is INR 11,765, and special pay and allowances are also applicable based on positions.

Candidates should check whether they fulfil the IBPS Clerk 2021 Eligibility before application. The eligibility required for IBPS Clerk 2021 Eligibility is as follows:

  • Candidates are required to apply for vacancies in ANY ONE State/Union Territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Government of India or approved by Government Regulatory Bodies.
  • Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam before 9 October 2020; final year students are not eligible to apply for exam.
  • The age limit for IBPS Clerk 2021 is minimum of 20 years and maximum of 28 years as on 1 September 2021. Age limit relaxation is applicable for various categories as per norms.
  • Candidates must have computer literacy. Any certificate/degree/diploma in computer operations or language, or candidates must have studied IT either in High school or college.
  • Candidates must have working proficiency in the language of the state they have/wish to apply.

IBPS Clerk 2021 Application Form will be available in September 2021. Candidates are required to apply through online mode only. Here is the step-by-step process:

  • Click on “New Registration” for CRP Clerks-X 2021
  • Fill in your details such as name, Date of Birth, email ID and mobile number
  • Registration number and password will be sent on the registered email ID and mobile number
  • Login with the credentials to proceed
  • Fill in personal, educational details, contact, category, state of choice, preferred exam centre etc.
  • Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration etc.
  • Process IBPS Clerk Application Fees, as per category, through online mode
  • Download and save the accepted Application form and fee receipt for further process

IBPS Clerk 2021 Exam Pattern

IBPS Clerk 2021 exam is sectioned into two phases: Preliminary and Main. There are many similarities between both the exams, as listed below:

  • IBPS Clerk 2021 is computer-based test and will consist of multiple-choice questions.
  • All the questions will be available in two languages­—English and Hindi.
  • Sectional timing will be applicable for IBPS Clerk 2021.
  • Negative marking will be applicable while evaluation; on-fourth marks will be deducted from the allotted marks.
  • To equate the difficulty level of the papers in different slots, the scores will be normalized.
