Bihar Teachers Eligibility Test or BTET Result 2020 will be announced by Bihar School Education Board on their website. Though now an exact date can’t be predicted, if one is to go by previous years, it will tentatively be released in the month of December 2020.

The results will be uploaded onto the official website of BSES and can be accessed online only. Students will need to enter their roll number and Date of birth to access their scorecard. Candidates can visit the official website of the Bihar School Education Board.

Bihar TET 2020 Highlights

Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a qualifying exam that all aspiring Primary and Upper Primary teachers need to appear for in order to apply for the post of Teacher in government schools. The Government of India has made this a mandatory exam which has been instituted in order to encourage excellence in the profession of teaching.

Bihar’s School Education Board conducts its own set of examination for those who aspire to teach in its Government schools. It is a mandatory exam if one wishes to take on the noble profession of teaching in the Government schools of Bihar.

Bihar TET exam is conducted in two parts.

Those wishing to teach Primary school (Class 1 to 5) need to sit for Paper 1.

Those who aim to teach Upper Primary (Class 6 to 8) need to give the Part 2 exam.

Candidates can either sit for one of the parts or both. They will not have to fill the form twice or pay double fees if they want to sit for both exams.

Important Dates for Bihar TET

All aspiring candidates need to keep in mind the important dates for the Bihar TET. Please ensure that you submit the application form and fees well before the last date. Applications for the Bihar TET will be made available from September 9, 2020, online through the BSES website. Forms should be submitted by September 18, 2020.

The exam will be conducted on November 7, 2020. Results would be declared in the month of December 2020.

How to check Bihar TET Results?

Bihar School Education Board will release the results for Bihar TET on their official website. The results will be declared in the month of December 2020 (Tentatively). Only those candidates who would be sitting for the examination will be able to see their results.

You can follow these steps to access your scorecard once it has been released.

  • Click on the link BTET Results Announcement (It should be on the sidebar/scrolling on the bulletin band of the website)
  • You will need to enter your Roll number and Date of Birth and click ‘search’
  • Carefully check your score and details
  • Once satisfied, go ahead download it
  • Take printouts of the scorecard for future use

Details on BTET Scorecard

The TET scorecard will have to be downloaded by visiting Bihar Education Board website. Candidates can access their scorecard by clicking on the link

The Bihar TET scorecard will contain the following important information regarding candidates:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Candidate’s Roll No
  • Candidate’s Date of Birth
  • Form Number
  • Exam Level

All candidates should carefully check his or her result and all the details mentioned on the scorecard. If there is any mistake/discrepancy, she/he should immediately contact BSEB and clarify the situation (He/She should do it immediately.).

If the candidate is satisfied with all details, she/he should take a print out for future use, since it will be required for counselling period. The scorecard is an important piece of document and it is advised that you keep it carefully.

BTET Answer Key

BTET Answer Key

BTET answer key will be made available a week after the BTET Exam. Candidates can check/download the answer key in PDF format from the official website.

Once the answer key is released, candidates will have to thoroughly check it and raise any concern/objections they have against the answers provided. If any candidate has an objection with the answers provided in the answer key he will need to get in touch with BSEB for the same.

He will have to provide proof in writing/documents to show what he/she feels is the right answer.

Once there is no objection raised/after all objections are clarified, final answer key will be released by BSES on the website. Candidates will be able to roughly estimate how they fared in the exam by going though the answer key.

BTET Merit List

BTET 2020 Merit List

BTET 2020 Merit List will tentatively be announced in the month of December 2020. Candidates are requested to check carefully if they’ve made it to the merit list by visiting the official website of the BSES. The Merit List will be based only on the marks a candidate scores on the BTET exam.

The cut off for BTET is usually 60%. Those candidates who make it to the merit list will get to be teachers in the government schools of Bihar.

Hi Nafisa. No, for every wrong answer, zero marks will be deducted. Also those Questions that are not attempted will not be considered; no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
